In the early 1960s, Ducati took the bold step of introducing two new models to their lineup: the 80 Setter and its more powerful counterpart, the 80 Sport. While the 80 Setter showed promise, it ultimately failed to gain traction with enthusiasts, paving the way for the introduction of the 80 Sport in 1963.
The 80 Sport boasted a significant increase in power over its predecessor, yet it too suffered from poor sales and was discontinued by the end of 1966.
