Ducati 125 Sport (1961 – 64)

Ducati 125 Sport (1961 - 64)

In the early 1960s, Ducati’s production line expanded to include a more docile version of the iconic 125 Sport. The 125 TS boasted a less “racing” camshaft, resulting in a lower RPM and distinct engine character.

Its valves also differed from its sportier counterparts, and with a lower compression ratio, this bike was designed for cruising rather than outright speed.

The Ducati 125 TS’s smooth power delivery made it an instant hit among enthusiasts, including Ricardo Fargas and José Ma Arenas who piloted the bike to victory in the 1000km rally.
