The BMW R 1200R and R 1200R Classic are the latest iterations in BMW’s long tradition of roadster building, boasting a modern sporty design and accentuated classical touches.
Their revised boxer engines provide a significant boost in torque, making them even more exhilarating to ride. With 1170cc of displacement and DOHC valve gear, they’re similar to those found in the BMW HP2 Sport, and deliver superior propulsion under all conditions.
The R 1200R’s sporty all-around character is emphasized with new cast light alloy wheels, while the R 1200R Classic takes a more refined approach with wire spoke wheels, metallic sapphire black paintwork, and a centre stripe in plain alpine white.
The result is a pair of roadsters that set a new standard in the segment, offering greater quality and driving dynamics for even more riding fun.
