Features
450cc Unicam® engine
Honda’s Unicam® design creates a compact engine that saves weight. The included valve angle flattens the combustion chamber for easier ignition while the camshaft sits lower, making it more compact and lowering the center of gravity.
Fuel injection
Our proven fuel injection system provides excellent torque, spot-on metering, and response, especially in the critical low-rpm range. Additionally, it automatically compensates for changes in elevation and weather.
Titanium intake and exhaust valves
Lightweight titanium intake and exhaust valves permit smaller valve springs, reducing overall engine height.
Twin-spar chassis
A lightweight, stiff, twin-spar aluminum chassis provides excellent handling while being wider than the standard MX frame to fit the six-speed transmission.
Dunlop MX52 tires
Dunlop’s MX52 tires provide excellent traction across various terrains and conditions, making them critical for on- and off-road bikes.
Low center of gravity
The Unicam® engine’s compact design and our center-of-mass engineering reduce the bike’s weight and improve handling.
Works-style front brake
Increased stopping power and handling are thanks to the compact twin-piston front brake caliper, anodized aluminum brake pistons, and lightweight 260mm front disc that minimize unsprung weight.
Works-style rear brake
An HRC works-style rear brake system uses a 240mm brake rotor that integrates with the rear master cylinder and fluid reservoir, eliminating the need for a separate reservoir and hose.
18-inch rear wheel
The 18-inch rear wheel provides a great selection of off-road tires, and the black DID rims add to the aesthetic appeal.
Wide-ratio six-speed transmission
Having six speeds in the transmission, as opposed to a typical five on an MX bike, provides more versatility. This bike can handle everything from East Coast rock crawling to wide-open Baja blasts.
Tuned-weight crank
The bike has a unique crankshaft that differs from our MX and dual-sport models. The crankshaft’s weight and inertial characteristics play a big role in power delivery.
Dual radiators
The dual radiators feature a refined core for superior heat dissipation. At the same time, the coolant recovery tank is in front of the engine between the frame downtubes for an improved center of gravity.
Oversized fuel tank
We gave the X model a larger, 2.0-gallon resin fuel tank. This will allow for fewer fuel stops, which can save valuable time over the course of a long ride or race.
Skid plate
The factory skid plate is light, yet it also offers the engine and lower-frame protection that serious riders demand on a machine like this.
Factory handguards
Designed exclusively for off-road riders and manufactured to Honda standards, these guards protect against rocks, branches, thorns, and brushes while giving the bike a polished look.
Works MX styling
If the X-model graphics remind you of our MX bikes, that’s because they’re derived from them. The smooth bodywork makes it easy to move around, while the in-mold graphics are durable, too.
Gear-driver counterbalancer
The gear-driven counterbalancer reduces vibration and drives the water pump.
California Green-Sticker compliant
California riders can ride this bike off-road year-round in any open OHV area since it is Green-Sticker compliant.
Superior ergonomics
Placing the rider’s legs at the narrowest part of the frame helps improve comfort and handling.
Sidestand
A sidestand may seem insignificant, but this forged alloy piece is an exceptional example of this bike’s attention to detail.
Fuel mileage meter
The fuel mileage meter is a key feature that displays current and average fuel mileage and fuel consumption and can show data in miles or kilometers. It’s in the same digital display as the speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, and clock.
Electric start
The electric start system ensures trouble-free starting. It drives the clutch side of the crankshaft, providing superior lubrication to starter gears while allowing a narrow engine with a short, strong crank.
Lighting package
It has a complete lighting package (headlight and taillight) for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
Affordable yet packed with features, the XR150L is ready for any terrain — from city streets to rugged trails — and now comes in White or Gray colorways with updated graphics for a fresh new look. Built for riders of all skill levels, it delivers premium performance with Honda’s unmatched reliability, all without breaking the bank.

Features
Liquid-cooled-single engine
A liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine is the perfect choice for a bike like this. It’s simple, fuel-efficient, compact, and powerful.
Double-overhead-cam design
Honda engines are known for their superior quality. This one features dual overhead cams that are highly efficient, low-maintenance, and free-revving.
Fuel injection
Fuel injection ensures quick starts in cold weather, reduces emissions and enhances performance and fuel efficiency compared to a carbureted bike.
Revised suspension
You asked, and we answered—In response to rider feedback, we stiffened the springs for more off-road versatility and reworked the internals to make the ride smoother.
Anti-Lock Braking System
Our Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) comes standard, designed to inspire increased confidence and control when stopping in all conditions. It can be turned off for added feel when off-road riding.
Wheel sizes
A 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel give you a wide selection of tire choices for everything from serious off-road trail riding to smooth on-road adventures.
Disc brakes
Hydraulic disc brakes measuring 256mm in the front and 220mm in the rear deliver exceptional stopping power and brake feel.
Inverted fork
An inverted fork with large 43mm sliders adds strength and provides excellent handling on- and off-road.
Ground clearance
The engine is mounted as high in the frame as possible, allowing for an impressive 9.6 inches of ground clearance.
Strong steel frame
Thanks to its finely tuned rigidity, the steel frame is designed to be strong enough to handle rough pavement and off-road trails while providing better feedback.
Counterbalanced engine
Thanks to the counterbalancer, this engine runs smoothly, combining the size and torque benefits of a single with the smoothness of a multi-cylinder motorcycle.
Improved heat management
Redesigned side covers and a repositioned radiator fan are designed to redirect warm air more efficiently, keeping you cooler during long rides.
Integrated rear master cylinder
The rear brake fluid reservoir is integrated into the master cylinder construction, resulting in a cleaner, more compact and damage-resistant design.
Large sidestand foot
We equipped it with a large sidestand foot. While it may seem like a minor detail, it proves useful when parking on hot asphalt or riding off-road.
CRF/R-inspired bodywork
The bike’s design and styling are based on our latest motocross models. The bodywork elements have smooth transitions, making it easier for the rider to maneuver and improving functionality.
New side covers
We separated the side covers into a two-piece design for improved heat resistance and added style.
Polished black rims
The polished surface of the black rims makes it easy to keep them clean and enhances their appearance.
Lower seating position
With a seat height that’s a full two inches lower than our standard CRF300L, this model is the perfect fit for riders with a shorter inseam or anyone looking for more confidence around town.
Comfortable seating
The extended motocross-style seat provides easy movement in all directions, making it comfortable for navigating various terrains.
Cargo convenience
Special hooks make it easy to secure light cargo to the passenger seat with bungee cords. And there’s a storage box on the left side for smaller items.
Passenger ready
Equipped with a long seat and fold-up frame-mounted passenger footpegs, this bike allows you to carry a passenger and share the fun.
Ample footroom
The engine and footpegs are positioned to provide maximum footroom, which is beneficial when wearing heavy off-road riding boots.
Slim seat front
The seat is slim in the front, making it easier to move forward on the bike and for your feet to touch the ground at stops.

Features
450cc Unicam® engine
The Unicam® cylinder-head engine is a hybrid design based on our championship-winning CRF450R. It is lighter, has a lower center of gravity, and a higher compression ratio, all designed to improve the outright power and performance.
Fuel injection
This bike’s proven fuel injection system offers excellent torque and spot-on metering and response, especially in the critical low-rpm range. It also automatically compensates for elevation and weather changes.
Titanium intake and exhaust valves
Lightweight titanium intake and exhaust valves permit smaller valve springs, reducing overall engine height.
Twin-spar chassis
Excellent handling results from the twin-spar aluminum frame, which is lightweight and rigid. The chassis geometry has been specifically chosen for its responsiveness and is wider than the standard MX frame to accommodate the six-speed transmission.
18-inch rear wheel
The 18-inch rear wheel provides an excellent range of tire options for both on- and off-road use.
IRC GP tires
The tires are designed to provide excellent traction for both on- and off-road use while featuring a long life span.
Low center of gravity
The Unicam® engine, compact in size, and Honda’s focus on center-of-mass engineering maintain a low center of gravity, resulting in a lighter-feeling bike that’s easier to handle.
Works-style front brake
Impressive stopping power results from a lightweight 260mm front disc and compact twin-piston front brake caliper, while anodized aluminum brake pistons minimize unsprung weight for improved handling and turning.
Works-style rear brake
The HRC works-type rear brake system uses a 240mm brake rotor with an integrated master cylinder and fluid reservoir. This setup increases durability by eliminating the need for a separate reservoir and hose.
Wide-ratio six-speed transmission
Similar to the 450X, the 450RL features a six-speed wide-ratio gearbox. This allows the low gear to be excellent in slow, tight situations and the high gear to be tall enough for highway riding to the next trailhead or gas stop.
Electric fan
This bike is designed for all terrains and has an electric fan to cool the engine.
Final-drive sprocket damper
These unique dampened drive sprockets, designed to keep your bike quieter without adding weight, are another example of this bike’s innovative engineering.
Inertia-tuned crank
The crank has 13% more inertia than the one used in the 450R, designed to smooth out the power delivery and increase user-friendliness in technical situations.
Lithium-ion battery
The battery is light, compact, and offers excellent performance. This is just another small part of why this bike performs so well.
Skid plate
The factory skid plate is light, yet it also offers the kind of engine and lower-frame protection that serious riders demand on a machine like this.
Large fuel tank
The premium resin tank can hold up to 2.0 gallons of gas. It is both lightweight and durable.
Works MX styling
The 450RL resembles our MX bikes, thanks to its similar smooth bodywork design, making it easy to move around. Additionally, the in-mold graphics not only look cool but are also durable.
Street-legal and off-road capable
Street-legal in all 50 states, this motorcycle has a catalytic converter and can be ridden off-road almost anywhere. You can ride it on public lands, roads, and state and national parks. Now there’s no need to haul your bike to the trailhead.
Factory handguards
Handguards come pre-installed from the factory, fully integrated, and color-matched to the bike. They attach to the control-lever pivots and are vented.
Fuel mileage meter
The fuel mileage meter displays current and average fuel mileage and consumption and can show measurements in miles or kilometers. It’s located in the same digital display area as the speedometer.
Gear-driven counterbalancer
The gear-driven counterbalancer serves a dual purpose: it reduces vibration and drives the water pump.
Sidestand
A sidestand may seem like no big thing, but look at this. Tucked up high and out of the way, this forged alloy piece is another example of how this bike gets it right.
Electric start
An electric start system ensures easy starting in all conditions. The electric starter also drives the clutch side of the crankshaft to provide superior lubrication to the starter gears while producing a narrow engine with a short, strong crank.
LED lighting
This bike has all-LED lighting, including the headlight, which reduces weight on the front end. The lighting pattern is designed specifically for on- and off-road use. The rear fender includes an integrated LED taillight that is lightweight and compact.
