    Features

    • 1083cc twin-cylinder engine
    • Unicam® engine design
      • Honda’s Unicam® engine design, with its compact cylinder-head layout, allows for optimal engine placement and superior performance in terms of both handling-related weight distribution and airflow-related horsepower. Talk about a win-win.
    • Parallel-twin engine layout
      • Thanks to the parallel-twin engine layout, the bike’s front wheel can tuck in closer to the engine. This shortens the wheelbase, making the bike more agile.
    • Twin intakes
      • A unique twin air intake system featuring two vertical filtration elements results in excellent engine performance, even during extensive operation in dusty conditions.
    • 10.5:1 compression ratio
      • The 10.5:1 compression ratio and updated valve timing increase the midrange horsepower and torque by more than 7 percent compared to the previous version, which is hard not to love.
    • Larger exhaust pipes
      • Last year, we increased the size of the muffler-exit pipes on both models to enhance performance and sound quality.
    • Compact dual-catalyzer exhaust
      • Using the same muffler-valve technology as our CBR1000RR Superbike, the exhaust helps lower emissions while aiding rideability and increasing power output.
    • 270-degree-phase crank
      • Most twins use a 180-degree crank, but the Africa Twin family has a 270-degree design. This setup provides a unique power delivery that’s easier to modulate in terrain where traction is challenging, not to mention a unique sound.
    • Dry-sump engine
      • A dry-sump engine design is really the only viable option for a big adventure bike. The more compact sump increases ground clearance, eliminating the main vulnerability of a conventional wet sump powerplant.
    • Long-travel front suspension
      • The standard model’s inverted 45mm Showa® fork is fully adjustable and has 8 inches of travel – the most in the 1000cc ADV class. The Adventure Sports ES models have 7.3 inches of front travel to match the more street-focused 19-inch front wheel.
    • Selectable ABS
      • These bikes come with a three-mode Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS): On-Road, Off-Road, and a rear ABS removable mode that can be turned off for dirt riding.
    • Low center of gravity
      • By placing heavy components like the battery near the bike’s center of gravity and using a compact engine, we’ve created a platform for excellent handling.
    • Cornering ABS
      • The integrated 6-axis IMU is a standard feature of the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and is designed to add the correct amount of ABS based on the degree the rider is leaned over.
    • Electronically controlled suspension
      • The Adventure Sports ES models come equipped with adjustable Showa EERA® suspension, which allows you to choose from five damper settings on the fly and change the suspension to match the terrain and conditions without ever stopping.
    • Semi-double-cradle frame
      • The semi-double-cradle lightweight steel frame is similar in design to those used on our Rally factory racebike—a machine designed to perform in the most challenging conditions with a history of winning the Dakar Rally twice.
    • Steel frame
      • This frame is almost 4 pounds lighter than its predecessor, and it has a stiffer steering head designed for added feedback and improved handling.
    • Four-piston calipers
      • Twin, four-piston brake calipers up front provide powerful braking performance, while the radial-mount design also stiffens them, increasing feel and control.
    • Refined swingarm
      • The swingarm is lightweight and sturdy, thanks to the technology developed for our CRF450R motocrosser, and it has been beefed up to handle the rigors of the Africa Twin family.
    • Hollow steel axles
      • Large-diameter hollow steel axles are used in the front and rear. They are extremely strong, durable, and lightweight, a combination that could describe just about everything on this bike.
    • Rear suspension
      • The standard Africa Twin models feature fully adjustable rising-rate Pro-Link® rear suspension with 8.7 inches of rear-wheel travel. In comparison, the Adventure Sports ES models are equipped with electronic preload adjustment and offer 7.9 inches of travel.
    • Electronic preload adjustment
      • Adjusting the preload on the Adventure Sports ES models is effortless. Four settings are tailored to your needs. There is no need to struggle with hard-to-reach collars – all adjustments are made electronically.
    • Tires and wheels
      • All Africa Twin models have wire-spoked wheels. The standard models feature 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels designed for better off-road performance, while the Adventure Sports ES models get a more road-focused 19-inch front wheel and wider rims.
    • Tubeless tires
      • Tubeless tires are standard on all four Africa Twin variations. They provide a cooler-running tire and a wide selection of adventure bike rubber. Flat tire repairs are also much easier.
    • Riding modes
      • Both models offer six selectable riding modes: Tour, Urban, Gravel, Off-Road, User 1, and User 2. The last two allow you to customize them to your individual preferences.
    • Six-speed automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission
      • The Africa Twin DCT and Adventure Sports ES DCT models feature a robust, steel-gear transmission that can be operated manually with paddle shifters or left in fully automatic mode, where it shifts entirely for you. This truly is the future of two-wheeled transmissions.
    • Water pump
      • The water pump is behind the cover and driven by a balancer shaft, so there is no need for external hoses that could snag or rupture in a fall.
    • Throttle-by-wire
      • Our throttle-by-wire system expands the ADV’s versatility with seven levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and four power delivery modes: Tour, Urban, Gravel, and User, which can be custom programmed.
    • Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
      • Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) lets you customize the bike’s power delivery to match conditions or rider skill level. It has seven different settings for various terrains and allows the bike to progress as you do.
    • Wheelie control
      • Front and rear wheel-speed sensors work with the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system to provide three levels of wheelie control. The system can also be manually turned off.
    • G switch
      • Standard on all Africa Twin DCT models, this special feature helps improve control when riding off-road by reducing clutch slip during throttle operation, which is especially critical when riding tough and technical terrain.
    • Lightweight lithium-ion battery
      • We used a lightweight lithium-ion battery to reduce the bike’s overall sprung mass for improved handling. It also happens to hold a charge four times longer than a conventional battery.
    • Rally-type fairing
      • Good fairings are key, especially when the miles pile up. We spent hours perfecting both AT models, with the Adventure Sports ES cowl shape designed to reduce high-speed highway buffeting and the standard Africa Twin made for off-road agility.
    • Full accessory lineup
      • You can equip your new CRF1100L with a full range of 48 different Honda accessories. These include a centerstand, quick-shifter, rally-style luggage boxes, seats, off-road footpegs, and much more.
    • Large fuel tanks
      • Both standard Africa Twin models feature 5-gallon fuel tanks, while our two Adventure Sports ES models increase that capacity to 6.6 gallons for those of you looking to super-size your adventures.
    • Optional aluminum luggage
      • Our three-piece hard luggage set is essential for every traveler. The bags have a weather-resistant lining, and the largest can accommodate a full-face helmet.
    • Tall handlebar
      • Fitting tall handlebars to both models opens up the cockpit, working with the seat and windscreen to create a comfortable rider triangle for long rides.
    • Tapered aluminum handlebar
      • Our aluminum handlebars are lighter and more flexible than steel handlebars of the same size. They are designed to taper from a thin diameter under the outer grip area to a thicker section at the center for optimal flex and rigidity.
    • Narrow seat
      • We took extra care to ensure the standard Africa Twin models’ seat was as narrow as possible while still being comfortable. This makes maneuvering the bike at low speeds and placing a foot on the ground when stopping much easier.
    • More comfortable ES seat
      • Last year, the Adventure Sports ES models received a new seat designed for more comfort during those long on-road rides.
    • Narrow subframe
      • The aluminum subframe is removable for servicing and repairs. Compared to previous AT models, the width has been reduced by 40mm for a narrower feel between the rider’s legs, making it more agile in challenging terrain.
    • Biaxial counterbalancer
      • Using counterbalancing elements on two axes, we have been able to cancel out a lot of the engine vibrations, resulting in a smooth ride that is easier over long distances.
    • Athletic riding position
      • Adventure riding requires nimble maneuvering on a slim bike. The peg-bar-seat triangle offers the perfect position for agile handling on challenging trails.
    • Cruise control
      • All Africa Twin models come factory-equipped with cruise control for touring, and you’ll thank us after those high-mileage rides.
    • TFT touchscreen display
      • A 6.5-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) instrument touch panel features three displays and can show a multitude of information, depending on your needs.

    Features

    • Compact engine
    • Underslung exhaust
      • An underslung exhaust features a dual-chamber design with a right-side exit. The high-flow system contributes to the bike’s ultra-linear throttle response.
    • Fine-tuned intake and exhaust
      • The engine’s intake and exhaust are designed to reduce air resistance, contributing to more linear power delivery and increased throttle response.
    • Light, strong chassis
      • Great handling starts with a superior chassis, so we use a special light and strong frame construction. This gives the lightweight naked bike the perfect combination of nimble handling and athletic comfort.
    • Inverted front fork
      • The inverted fork provides a smooth ride with compliant damping, featuring a supple spring rate just right for a bike of this size.
    • Standard ABS
      • Standard ABS helps you make controlled stops in less-than-ideal conditions, such as wet pavement, providing added confidence whether riding for fun or commuting.
    • Lightweight construction
      • At over 30 pounds lighter than our previous CB300F generation, the 2025 CB300R’s user-friendly curb weight means this bike handles well and is easier to balance at stoplights or parking lots.
    • Lightweight aluminum wheels
      • Unsprung weight—tires, wheels, and brakes—is critical to a bike’s responsive handling. That’s why we gave it lightweight aluminum wheels. Plus, they just plain look cool, too.
    • Perfect balance
      • A perfect 50/50 weight balance front-to-rear provides unmatched sport riding, combining rear-wheel traction, front-end grip, and equally balanced braking forces.
    • Tapered rubber-mounted aluminum handlebar
      • A premium tapered handlebar with a larger diameter clamped area delivers a direct connection to the bike and excellent steering feedback.
    • Counterbalance shaft
      • Because of the inclusion of a counterbalancer, the engine operates smoothly. This provides the advantages of a single cylinder, such as narrow overall width and power, while delivering exceptional smoothness.
    • Efficient engine design
      • Designed with a minimum number of moving parts, the engine features low-friction piston rings and is cooled by a high-density core radiator. The iridium spark plug increases fuel efficiency, and an optimized intake layout helps improve initial acceleration.
    • Café style
      • Taking its styling cues from our CB1000R, the CB300R offers a fresh, contemporary take on the modern streetbike with its angular lines and minimalist design.
    • Blacked-out hardware
      • Blacked-out hardware provides subtle touches that perfectly complement the angular and modern minimalist styling.
    • Passenger ready
      • A separate passenger seat, integrated grab rail, and passenger footpegs allow you to take a friend along for the ride—another example of the bike’s versatility.
    • Comfortable riding position
      • The seat height and position give the lightweight streetfighter an engaged, athletic riding position. This upright view lets you easily see what’s happening around you, making it easy to instantly respond to the road.
    • All-LED lighting
      • An all-LED lighting package is another example of the bike’s modern approach. The round headlight with LED blubs nods to classic naked bikes with today’s tech, while the super-thin LED taillight provides a clean, low-profile look.
    • LCD instruments

    Honda CL500 (2025)

Our iconic style starts with the 12L fuel tank; smooth, rounded and perfectly formed, with authentic rubber knee pads for comfort. And everything that can be – engine, frame and suspension – is blacked out for sleek, minimalist looks. Rubber gaiters protect fork legs, just like back in the day. High, wide handlebars give excellent control and, in true CL tradition, mirror the evocative high-level exhaust muffler, with its distinctive drilled stainless heat shield and twin-pipe exit, that sits just right.

    Features

    • Minimal Yet Informative LCD Display
    • Stability in Both On and Off-road Environments
      • 41mm telescopic front forks feature 150mm travel for supple control, and the Showa rear shocks are preload adjustable. There’s the surefooted stability of a 19-inch front wheel, and the 310mm floating front disc and two-piston caliper ensure progressive stopping power with ABS optimised for dirt tracks as well as road.
    • Natural Riding Position with Flat Seat
      • For easy control and turning in an urban area the riding position is upright, with arms and knees placed in a comfortable, natural posture. It also gives you great all-round visibility. There’s plenty of room on the flat seat to move back and forward, allowing for a more aggressive attitude.
    • Assist & Slipper Clutch Control
      • The engine’s clutch is designed to help you ride; it assists with a light lever load and makes for smoother, easier gear changes up and down. And you don’t have to juggle engine rpm or worry about the rear wheel locking up on multiple down changes – the slipper function takes care of that.
    • A2 Licence Compatible
      • With 35kW peak power the CL500 is ready for an A2 licence holder. The engine’s power delivery and character are also well-mannered and easy going, especially low down in the rev-range, so perfect for new riders.
    • LED Lighting
      • The classic round headlight features four bright LED bulbs for a distinct light signature. But LED lighting is also energy efficient, runs cooler and the bulbs last longer. And, most importantly, visibility to other road users is much improved.
    • Enhanced Seat Comfort

    Features

    • 649cc DOHC inline-four
    • Exhaust system
      • An exhaust’s roles are to hush the engine without reducing power, refine engine output, resonate melody, and elevate style. The naked CB’s four-into-one system excels across all fronts, producing that beautiful signature inline-four sound.
    • Unique engine tuning
      • Enhanced valve timing and piston design increase power and torque across the rpm range, making it as good at city driving as it is at canyon carving.
    • Refined intake system
      • Engineered with a twin-duct intake, it’s designed to ram cool, dense air into the airbox, boosting horsepower.
    • Showa SFF-BP fork
      • Precision handling demands a top-tier front suspension system. The Showa Separate Function Front Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) unit is a masterpiece of reduced weight, enhanced rigidity, and superior performance.
    • Twin-spar frame
      • Crafted with finesse, the twin-spar frame integrates pivotal elements, from engine hangers to seat rails, all optimizing weight reduction while also providing the ideal chassis flex characteristics. Robust yet lightweight, this frame epitomizes superior handling.
    • Y-spoke aluminum wheels
      • The aluminum wheels feature Y-shaped spokes that help reduce unsprung weight for better handling. Plus, they look quite sharp.
    • Radial-mount front brakes
      • Featuring large 310mm dual discs that are grabbed by radial-mounted four-piston calipers, the bike offers premium sportbike stopping power that’s linear and easy to modulate.
    • Honda E-Clutch
      • E-Clutch is the best of all worlds: you’ll still be shifting your bike with your left foot, but you no longer have to use the handlebar-mounted clutch. And if you want the control and performance the clutch lever gives you, it’s still there. Plus, it performs like a quick-shifter—something the more aggressive sport riders will love.
    • 4.1-gallon fuel tank
      • This versatile bike is equipped with a generous 4.1-gallon gas tank, offering excellent range and remarkable fuel efficiency.
    • Six-speed transmission

    • Honda Selectable Torque Control
      • Honda’s Selectable Torque Control system (HSTC) adjusts engine power to optimize torque at the rear wheel, reducing rear-wheel slip during aggressive riding. It can be turned on/off with a handlebar switch.
    • Modern Café styling
      • The modern café design combines sportbike agility with naked streetfighter looks for a bold and daring appearance.
    • Trapezoidal body layout
      • Although it might sound like a mouthful, it simply means that this bike has great aesthetics and looks as good as it performs.
    • Upright handlebar
      • Your connection to the machine relies on the handlebar. Our precise tuning of the bar’s angles enhances maneuverability, allowing for more nimble handling and easier mastery of tight turns.
    • Easy-to-read instrument display
      • At five inches in size, the TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) instrument display is easy to read, bright, and packed with vital information. It includes a large speed display, tachometer, gear-position indicator, trip meters, and more.
