Ducati DesertX (2022)

Ducati DesertX (2022)

The wait is over for adventure-seekers as Ducati unveils its most thrilling creation yet – the DesertX.

This behemoth of a motorcycle boasts an impressive arsenal of off-road equipment, including a stainless steel single muffler, catalytic converter, and dual lambda probes. The KYB monoshock suspension, with remote preload adjustment, is fully adjustable for ultimate control over the long travel suspension.

At its heart lies the Testastretta 11 engine, which delivers a comfortable, easy, and safe ride in any terrain, thanks to Ducati’s obsessive attention to ergonomics and aerodynamics. With its generous ground clearance and specifically off-road-focused development, this bike is designed to conquer even the most daunting off-road challenges.

The result is a machine that effectively blurs the lines between on- and off-road capabilities, making it perfect for tackling everything from desert dunes to mountainous twisties. With its 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear, the DesertX is the ultimate travel companion for those who dare to push their limits.

The DesertX project was born in 2019 as a concept that would eventually become this fully-fledged motorcycle, thanks to the positive feedback from motorcyclists worldwide. The Ducati Centro Stile’s contemporary interpretation of classic Enduro lines gives it an unmistakable visual identity, composed of three macro elements: a unique voice.

The DesertX is not just a bike – it’s a key that unlocks new possibilities for riders, allowing them to explore the world with confidence and freedom.
