Built around Suzuki’s RGV250 V-twin engine, first introduced in 1989, this potent powerplant boasts advanced features such as guillotine-type power valves and ceramic-coated cylinders. Aprilia’s modifications have taken this engine to new heights, producing a staggering 52kW (70bhp) at the crankshaft – equivalent to an astonishing 280bhp/litre.
A lightweight aluminium frame provides razor-sharp handling, while fully-adjustable suspension and wide sports tyres offer unparalleled grip and control.
