AJP has realized what most other manufacturers have not – there are plenty of riders out there that are small in stature but big on riding! Just because they may be smaller than average doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy full features. Finally, SPR125 is here to bridge the gap!
Although SPR125 is an entry-level engine size, that is where the comparison to its competitors ends. Most other entry-level bikes have underpowered drum brakes and clumsy non-adjustable suspension, but not SPR125. Huge disc brakes get SPR125 stopped in an instant, and fully-adjustable rebound and compression dampening at both ends ensure a smooth ride regardless of the terrain.
AJP realizes that not all serious riders are racers; there are a lot of riders out there that aren’t racers but demand a bike that has the right stuff to perform in the real world. In recent years, the gap has widened between dumbed-down trail bikes and full-blown race bikes, but SPR240 is the perfect bike to bridge the gap.
The SPR240 is the clear leader of the enduro-leisure category. The price is low enough to remain affordable, but we didn’t skimp on features or quality. Excellent, fully-adjustable suspension ensure that SPR240 can be ridden hard and deliver performance on the most demanding trails. 11+” of travel front and rear deliver a compliant ride, and over 14” of ground clearance keeps critical components out of harm’s way.
AJP raised the bar in the enduro-leisure category to new heights with our SPR240… then we completely broke the bar with SPR240 Extreme! Basically a standard SPR240 on steroids, the SPR240X is the ultimate play bike and trail machine.
The new SPR250 is the full-size bike that trail riders worldwide have been waiting for! Finally there is a bike that has up-to-date technology, full features, and excellent trail performance; thanks to AJP and the new SPR250, recreational riders no longer need to choose between a full blown expensive race-bike and an outdated, dumb-downed trail-snail.
Basically a downsized version of the PR7s aluminum/steel hybrid frame design, the unique chassis of the SPR250 is roomier than that of its SPR240 siblings, which makes it more comfortable for a fully-grown pilot to ride all day. The fuel tank resides in the rear of the bike to lower the center of gravity and centralize mass. This allows for a lighter feel and more precise turning. Up front where the fuel tank lives on other motorcycles is where you’ll find SPR’s airfilter. The uniquely designed airbox makes filter changes a snap with no tools required.
The new SPR310R is everything a midsize enduro bike should be! It all starts with the motor; the 310cc displacement strikes perfect balance – it has the fun, responsive feel of a small bore with a boost in power and torque. The DOHC fuel injected powerplant provides precise power for trail riding, while still revving to the moon in an Enduro Special Test.
There used to be a bit of a gap in the AJP family between the air-cooled SPRs and the rally-inspired PR7, but the new SPR-R line from AJP completes the model lineup.
The new SPR510R is everything a large-displacement off-roader should be! It all starts with the motor; the 510cc, DOHC, fuel-injected powerplant provides the stump-pulling torque that every big bore rider craves.
The chassis is equally as impressive as the moror. Basically a downsized version of the PR7s aluminum/steel hybrid frame design, the unique chassis of the SPR510 houses the fuel tank in the rear to lower the center of gravity and centralize mass. This allows for a lighter feel and more precise turning. Up front where the fuel tank resides on other motorcycles is where you’ll find SPR’s air filter. The uniquely designed airbox makes filter changes a snap with no tools required.
Not for the faint of heart – this bike is packed with features and ready to blast across the desert at over 100mph!
The heart of the PR7 is a compact, light and modern engine, equipped with a balancing shaft (low vibrations) and a 6 speed gearbox, making it perfect to match the philosophy of the bike. The bike allows an optimal exploration of the torque delivered by the single-cylinder water-cooled engine, with a double over-head camshaft, 4 valves, and fed by a modern injection system with a 45 mm body.
The PR7 is designed to be the ultimate open-class rally racer. Starting with a new generation frame we added the very best in off-road suspension from Sachs front & rear. Next came billet triple clamps, billet footpegs, and billet bar mounts.
To keep the stand-over height narrow and low – we placed the fuel tank in our usual place – down low, under the seat. The rally-style tower incorporates a very effective windscreen, dual stacked headlamps, and removable tablet computer. Load the Android tablet with whatever you like – navigation, apps, web-based programs – it can handle it all, at speed – through any weather condition.
